Hello everyone! My name is Nguyen Dinh Dong.
I was born in 1987 in Hanoi to my dad Nguyen Dinh Dang and my mom Dinh Thi Thuy Mai.
We came to Japan in 1994 and have been living here since then.
As many of my classmates, I love to watch Japanese cartoons, play computer games, listen to J-pop.
I practice piano and aikido. From time to time I also draw or paint.

I made these paintings when I joined the art club in my junior-high school.

I started to take private piano lessons at the age of six from a piano professor of Hanoi Concervatory.
After we arrived in Japan, I continued my piano lessons under the guidance of my father for six years.
When I entered the junior high-school, I enrolled in a piano class of Yamaha, where I'm currently taking piano lessons once per week.
The picture above was taken at the 2001 annual concert given by piano students and teachers of Yamaha piano classes in our neighbourhood.
The concert was held at the Ima Hall in Hikarigaoka city (August 2001). In the picture I play Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata.

I was 17 when I got the black belt (1st dan) in aikido
in my last year of high school (June, 2005).

Piano rehearsal at RIKEN Suzuki Umetaro Hall (27 July 2005).
I played Chopin's ballade Op. 23 in the next day (28 July 2005) at the annual concert in Tokyo Ima Hall.
