Good evening everybody!

Thank you for joining us tonight to this solo exhibit of oil paintingsby Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang.

As a representative of the Center for Cultural Promotion of Wako city, I'd like to say a few words about this event.
This "Vietnamese Art Exhibit" is held with the collaborative effort of Mr. Dang and our organization.
When Mr. Dang first came to us with his idea to have his art exhibitin Wako city, we were already in
the middle of the fiscal year so I had to tell him there wasn't any budget to provide financial support to the event.
However, I did tell him that we would be more than happy to lease the space for it.

By the way, my name is Arai, and I'm in charge of business relationsat the Center for Cultural Promotion of Wako-City. I've always been very much interested in art, and what I see in Mr.Dang's art is something that cannot be drawn by a Japanese since his paintings reflect what he has cultivated over the years as a Vietnamese, and  also include many elements of his country's history and culture. It is my wish that many people will come to this wonderful exhibition and to feel the spirit of Mr. Dang's art.

Thank you for your attention ladies and gentlemen, and I hope you'll all enjoy the exhibit!
