Year-End Party at café Clochette de Bois

December 10, 2005

Bonenkai is a party held in December to say farewell to the old year according to the Japanese tradition. This year the Japanese language class of the Wako International Circle held its bonenkai at Clochette de Bois, a French-style café in Wako city.

At the party my son and I were asked to play the piano. I played Ballade No.1 in G minor, Op. 23 by F. Chopin, while my son played Liebesträume by F. Liszt
